In its article in defence of the main Shia narrator ‘Zurarah’, it says:
Abu Abdullah (alaihi salam) said: “May Allah curse Buraydah and may Allah curse Zurarah.
Here is the full chain:
Hadith is weak. We have already talked about Muhammad b. Isa and his narration from Yunus.
Lets also read what it said about Muhammad ibn Isa in the same article
The second narrator is Muhammad b. Isa b. Obaid al-Yaqtini. There are different views on him. And Najashi is amongst scholars who accept him.
Muhaqqiq al-Hilli in his Mu ‘tabar fi sharh al-Mukhtasar, v.1, p.81 mentioned his weakness.
Ibn al-Walid said:
“Whatever Muhammad b. Isa narrated exceptionally from the books of Yunus is not reliable (and as we see above, this hadith is from Yunus). ”
Najashi don’t agree with the view of Ibn al-Walid.
The Nasibi quoted that hadith is from Sheikh Toosi’s book and it is well-known that Sheikh Tusi considered al-Yaqtini weak in many places, like – Fefrest, p.216, Rijal at-Tusi, p.391/448.
Now the same narrator i.e Muhammad ibn Isa has been declared ‘thiqqah’ by the same Shia website in its article on the condemnation of Shaikhayn.
9. From Muhammad ibn ‘Isa ibn ‘Ubaid (thiqa) from Yunus ibn ‘Abd ur-Rahmaan (thiqa) from ‘Abd us-Samad ibn Basheer (thiqa) from Abu Ja’far (a.s.). He (‘Abd us-Samad) said: “I heard Abu Ja’far (a.s.) saying that: ‘Behind this sun are forty such suns, and what is between a sun to another sun is forty years. Over there are many creations who do not know whether or not Allah created Adam (a.s.). And behind this moon of yours are forty such moons, and what is between a moon to another moon is forty days. Over there are many creations who do not know whether or not Allah created Adam (a.s.). They have been inspired, just like the Bee has been inspired, to curse the first and the second, all the time. And with them are Angels, who torture them when they do not curse the two.”
Basaa’er ud-Darajaat of Saffaar (r.a.) 1/506
And as you can see, the chain is
From Muhammad ibn ‘Isa ibn ‘Ubaid (thiqa) from Yunus ibn ‘Abd ur-Rahmaan (thiqa)
Here the Shia website has no problem with it, because here it is trying to portray the Shaikhayn as criminals according to ahlelbayt, but when it comes to condemnation of Zurarah, Muhammad ibn Isa becomes dubious and his narrations from Yunus are discarded. Why?
But this is is not the only place where the Shia website has used the narrations of Muhammad ibn Isa from Yunus, it has used it in its other articles also.
In its article about Islam , Eman and the criteria of Eman, it says
we find in the next chapter
this is the hadeeth in this
imam abu abdullah jafar asws said that eman is sharek/present along with islam,,,, but islam is not shareek with eman
this hadeeth means that when someone is momin, it is that he is muslim as well,
but when he is muslim only, it is not that he is also momin
And it has used the narrations of Muhammad ibn Isa in its many articles, the Shia website should have some shame in trying to disown him. This is no ‘Imam Bara’ of Shias where they can lie and deceive the common people and get away with it so easily.
